Our Curriculum Intent
At St Mary's CoE Primary School we follow the National Curriculum. The curriculum is designed to: recognise children’s prior learning, provide rich and rigorous learning experiences, allow the children to develop interpersonal skills, build resilience and become creative, critical thinkers. We want pupils to be active in their communities, open to new experiences and live happy and productive lives filled with joy, the freedom to dream and lived in a “rights” respecting way.

What do parents tell us ...
K showed me her work and all looks good. Looking at it, she has been well supported. Appreciate your help and with her learning journey. Thank you.
A warm welcoming atmosphere in the morning, E is so happy in this class and at St Mary's. She is stretched and encouraged and supported every day. Thank you.
I had a wonderful morning sitting in with F in her class today. I had the opportunity to see how my daughter functions . I am able to help her with things she struggles with. I think this is great for parents . I am inspired! I am looking forward to what's to come.
Everyone endeavours to reach for ‘a world class educational offer,’ wanting to see boundaries spanned and all barriers diminished, it is certainly a team with a ‘fusion of strengths, used to celebrate diversity.’
